Hanuman Chalisa is a powerful devotional stotram (hymn) that is devoted to Lord Hanuman. Hanuman Chalisa is a forty verses stotra that was composed by 16th-century poet Tulsidas in the Awadhi language. Hanuman Chalisa is one of the most important prayers that is recited in most of the Hindu families in the world.



Lord Hanuman is said to one of the incarnations of Lord Shiva and is a great devotee of Lord Rama. Lord Hanuman is an energetic god possessing great strength, courage, wisdom, purity. Reciting and chanting Hanuman Chalisa enables one to seek his blessing and hence all the above characters are inherited from the Lord by his grace.
