Sathu Mavu- Multigrain Health mix- Energy booster for Kids and Adults

Sathu mavu or multigrain health mix is one of the healthiest and tastiest alternatives to usual breakfast and morning beverages. It is loaded with a good amount of nutrients to boost and start the day with a good amount of energy and activity.


It can be consumed by almost all age groups starting from infants of age 8 to 10 months to adults. Here is a good recipe for Sathu Mavu - a multigrain health mix powder that can be prepared at home freshly by using 30+ ingredients.




Ingredients required and the quantity is as below: 


Ragi

Kuduraivali, Varaku and other millets can be used.

Fry the above ingredients one by one separately until there is a mild colour change with the good roasted aroma of the ingredient or allow the ingredients to pop a little bit. Allow to cool down and grind to a fine powder and store it in an air-tight container.

Preparation of the health mix or the sathu mavu kanji :



Mix 1 tsp powdered sattu mavu along with 1.5 to 2 cups of water/ milk and cook it on low flame for 10-15 minutes. Add jaggery, palm sugar or salt as per your taste requirements and enjoy the healthy drink.
